Eva Josephs, MOT, OTR/L

Eva Josephs, MOT, OTR/L is originally from central Illinois and recently moved to Utah from California with her husband and two children.

Eva attended Emory University for her undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Eva later decided to further her professional growth by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Then, while living in New York City, she worked as an OT in early intervention, school-based settings (pre-k to 8th grade) and a pediatric private practice. During that time, she sought additional training in areas such as effective neurological management of autism and sensory processing disorder, using play to benefit self-regulation, and strengthening visual-motor skills through movement-based learning.

In 2019, Eva and her husband moved to California, where she continued to work in a pediatric private practice. While there, she completed continuing education through the USC Chan Sensory Integration Certificate Program, as well as Handwriting with Tears and the PESI Certified ADHD Professional Intensive training Course. Eva is thrilled to be living in Salt Lake City and excited to spend some time snowboarding this winter. In her free time, she also enjoys scuba diving, yoga, hiking and crafts with her son and daughter.
