Maren Mabey, CCC-SLP is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated from the University of Utah with her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 2005 and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007. 

Since completing her Clinical Fellowship Year in 2008, her experience has encompassed a range of client populations from early intervention to adulthood across a variety of settings including preschools, K-12 schools, neuro-rehab, home health, tele-health and outpatient clinics. No matter the setting, she finds fulfillment in working with clients and families to implement functional communication strategies into everyday life. She believes sensory regulation is foundational to communication thus strives to make pediatric therapy engaging and productive through movement and play. 

Maren is excited to join Children In Motion's unique therapy space and family-centered collaborative team. Areas of expertise include early intervention, apraxia of speech, articulation/phonology, fluency, gestalt language processing, language disorder/delay, and neuro-cognitive rehabilitation. Outside of work, Maren enjoys hiking, skiing, paddle-boarding and seeking out the best tacos with her family and friends.
